Eataly, the world’s largest Italian food market and restaurant concept chain – operated by AZADEA Group, has opened a second location in Qatar, this time at Lusail City’s luxurious Place Vendome, bringing its unrivalled and high quality culinary, shopping and learning experience to residents and visitors at Doha’s best-connected and most accessible mall.
The 1,000 square meters culinary destination, which can cater for up to 250 diners at one time, features a restaurant, three eateries, two outdoor terraces, four on-site food production laboratories and a versatile marketplace with over 1,500 high quality and sustainable Italian products.
Place Vendome’s Eataly is dedicated to ‘Opportunities’ where Italian gastronomy can be discovered by people coming together in one place to explore Italy’s traditions and gastronomic excellence.
EAT TRADITIONAL ITALIAN CUISINE
Eataly Place Vendome offers a round-the-clock eating experience featuring traditional Italian favorites, and a market that sells the finest produce including fresh ingredients, cured meats, aged cheeses and handmade pastas and pastries. Eataly also offers a pasta ‘show’ where guests can watch experienced pasta makers transform simple ingredients into intricate shapes and ask for cooking advice.
The full-service restaurant, casual dining and quick service counters all boast a selection of dine-in and takeaway options, making exquisite Italian gastronomy easily accessible to customers.
The expansive menu features Italian favorites including the restaurant’s iconic signature pizza and pasta dishes, as well as a variety of salads, breads – panini, focaccia, and classic meals to-go. All are typically made in house using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
EATALY serves breakfast, lunch, and late-night bites daily, and the very best coffee and artisanal Venchi gelato in a range of flavours – including the famous Piemontese IGP Hazelnut. The full-service Il Gran Caffe´ Illy bar is inspired by Italy’s elegant cafés, while its Pasticceria offers classic, house-made Italian pastries.
Eataly’s rapid Alla Pala service area is housed inside the restaurant and brings Rome’s favourite street foods quickly to life including cannoli and tiramisu all created from high quality Italian ingredients.

Eataly’s in-house store is a beacon for diners, those eager to share the experience by way of gift cards, and curious experimenters looking to try traditional Italian cuisine in the comfort of their own homes. With more than 1000 dry products available, customers can shop for local, fresh produce, premium high-quality ingredients, and Italian products, seasonal festive gift hampers, a wide selection of cheeses accompanied by Italian cured meats and cold cuts, olive oil and balsamic vinegars, freshly made bread, more than 60 types of pasta, sauces, and much more.
COOK ITALIAN: LEARN AT EATALY
As Eataly plans to bring the Italian culture and cuisine to Qatar, cooking classes are available for both adults and kids.
Executive Chef Marcello Daniele Vigano hailing from Lombardia, Italy, stated: “Italian cooking is a way of life, and each recipe connects to a story. This is what we aim to enlighten our students on and hope they take away the value in the simplicity of good ingredients when cooking.”
Kids will be able to learn the fun tips and tricks on how to cook and embrace Italian food from Eataly’s chefs in a one-hour session. Little chefs are taught how to make dishes such as pizza and pasta, while learning more about Italian culture and cuisine.
