5. Islamic Information Challenge at Qatar National Library

This challenge is designed to grow our children’s knowledge of Islam and their research skills during the holy month of Ramadan.

Children can find answers to the questions on the Jana Reading platform. Just open the library and search using the following keywords “Islam, Ramadan, Mosques, Holidays and Occasions.” Read the suitable books related to the questions and provide your answers by filling out this form. 2. Junior Obstacle Race Challenge by 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum

The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum is hosting what will become an annual feature of its family-focused programming – the Junior Obstacle Race Challenge.

The track, which varies from half a mile to 2 miles depending on the age of the participants, features a dozen child-friendly obstacles, coming to a delightfully muddy finish with the Mud Run.

Starting things off on the Low Wall, participants will flex their upper body strength to get to the other side and practice their balance on the Steppingstone station.

Crawling through Tunnels is next to develop gross motor skills, improve spatial awareness, and engage in imaginative play. Balance is back in focus on Balance Beams of varied height. The Net Crawl will then challenge participants’ strength and coordination as they drop to the ground and crawl quickly under the net to reach the other side. Quick footwork will be in demand to master the two following stations of accurately speeding through Speed Tire Hurdles and climbing up and down A-Frames. Getting high off the ground on the Apex Ladder and Climbing Obstacles will get participants through to the best part of the course – the Mud Run. Dodging Panels might help shake off some of the cakey goodness, but it’s best to have towels at the ready when the course comes to an end.

The Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani’s complex of Museums (FBQ Museums) is the brainchild of a man’s long-lasting passion for collecting the world’s items of peculiar and historical relevance to create and share a new cultural heritage for Qatar and beyond. It showcases items from the private collection of the Sheikh after whom it is named.

However, FBQ Museums is much more than a series of gallery spaces. Since the inception of the main Museum in Al Shahaniya in 1998, through the establishment of the Carpet Museum in the heart of Doha in 2014, and with the forthcoming Car Museum, FBQ Museums have been engaging and connecting communities with Qatari heritage by celebrating diversity and hospitality.

A new museum extension is also in progress to expand the offer to keep inspiring people to learn through our collections, exhibitions, education, and public programs. In 2010, the museum was selected by the Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Heritage as one of Qatar’s cultural landmarks as part of the ‘Qatar Capital of Culture activities.

5. FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Ticket Sales

The second Random Selection Draw sales period for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ has started via FIFA.com/tickets. With the Final Draw completed, fans can now see who their team will face in the Group Stage and place their requests for their preferred opening fixtures.

The phase will run until Thursday, 28 April at 11:00 CET, and applicants will have for the first time the opportunity to request tickets to up to two matches per day at the beginning of the group stage, with the respective compatibility rules to be made available on FIFA.com/tickets. This is an unprecedented benefit at a FIFA World Cup™ thanks to the tournament’s uniquely compact nature and short travel times between all eight state-of-the-art stadiums.

Successful ticket applicants will be notified of the outcome of their ticket applications by email no earlier than May 31, 2022, coinciding with the start of the payment period.
